3/11/24: Tarot & Astrology updates for this week!

The Magician from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

The waxing moon moves into the sign of Aries on Monday, which motivates us to take inspired action towards our goals. If you set an intention with the new moon on Sunday, this week would be an opportune time to get started in turning your dream into reality!

Mars is in Aquarius until March 22, so we are open to new innovative ideas and may find ourselves willing to collaborate with a group or team to meet a common goal.

Venus moves into Pisces this week and will remain there until April 4th, which has her feeling passionate and romantic! Allow yourself to embrace creative, artistic pursuits and hobbies without judgement. It’s okay to do something just because you enjoy it!

In the love department, Venus in Pisces can be swept away by a good romance story! She tends to put on her rose-colored glasses when she is in this sign however, so be mindful as she may not notice if the line between illusion and reality becomes blurred. Advice: Follow your heart and have fun, but remember to take your head with you!

You may decide on a substantial purchase or investment this week. Venus in Pisces is not exactly the most practical, but Jupiter in Taurus sextile Saturn brings her back to reality by grounding her love of beauty and style with sound judgement, sprinkled with optimism and divine timing. Tap into this unique energy by brushing up on your charm and negotiating skills! And have faith in the abundance of the universe. “If it’s meant for me, it will be”.

Insights for the Tarot card of the week: The Magician (upright):

You have the skills and talent you need to make it happen. Stop overthinking and/or procrastinating. Take the first steps to turn a dream, plan, or goal into reality. Be careful of revealing the early stages of your plan to others – don’t tell them now, show them later. Put your best foot forward, others are taking notice of you. You see things others do not notice. This gives you an edge on the competition. Pay attention to intuitive guidance in the form of messages, dreams, visions and synchronicities.

Overall, the energy is quite positive this week! And literally, when The Magician upright makes an appearance, anything can happen. If you are magically inclined, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday would be good days for metaphysical workings such as road openers, better business, glamours, money spells, etc.

Suggested crystals to work with: Amethyst, spirit quartz, fluorite, citrine, green jade, tigers eye, sugilite, carnelian, aquamarine, labradorite, blue apatite.

Have a great week! ❤

Valentine’s Day Messages: New love, established couples & singles

Tarot Deck: After Tarot

For this Valentine’s Day, I pulled three cards. One for each of the following: New love, established couples & singles. Which one are you? Scroll down to find your appropriate message.

Queen of Wands from the After Tarot deck

New Love: Queen of Wands Upright

The Queen of Wands upright embodies confidence, allure, passion, and independence. It’s possible that these traits are what drew you both to each other. With a blend of Pisces and Aries energy (water and fire), your new relationship exudes charisma, passion, and a touch of unconventionality. Ahh, isn’t new love grand! 🥰

In tarot, the Queen represents maturity and wisdom, hinting that you might be open to a more serious commitment if things continue to progress positively. Your connection mirrors the uniqueness of the Queen of Wands herself – both of you possess intelligence and a quirky sense of humor that not everyone understands. But they do!

There’s also a tender sweetness between you. A smile, the sound of their voice, or a simple touch is all it takes… The Queen of Wands reflects that undefinable “it” factor that radiates magic and allure.

Enjoy the journey and allow your relationship to evolve naturally. No need to rush. Drawing the Queen of Wands upright is a favorable card when it comes to matters of the heart. ❤

The Chariot from the After Tarot deck

Established Couples: The Chariot Upright

The Chariot upright symbolizes the union of opposing forces, moving forward with focus, determination, and a shared objective. If you and your partner have drifted apart lately, it’s time to be proactive in getting your love life back on track!

The Chariot often hints at travel, suggesting a weekend getaway or exploring new destinations together. What are some activities that you both enjoy? Check travel sites for creative ideas. You may be pleasantly surprised by what is available in your own city or town!

Interestingly, this card is linked to the throat chakra, emphasizing the importance of communication in relationships. This Valentine’s Day, foster a deeper connection by asking your partner to jot down six things they love about you, while you reciprocate. Compare notes and have fun chatting about happy memories, such as when you first met.

Valentines Day is once a year. While a grand gesture on this day is appreciated, it’s the small things both of you do on a daily basis to show that you love and appreciate each other, that truly matter. ❤

Nine of Pentacles from the After Tarot deck

Singles: Nine of Pentacles

Self-love takes center stage when this card appears! Content with her independence, the Nine of Pentacles cultivates herself while spending time in her garden.

This Valentine’s Day, treat yourself to something special. Indulge in those delicious chocolate-covered strawberries, pamper yourself with a spa day (whether at a salon or at home), spend quality time with friends, pets, participate in a class or group activity, etc. Go out, stay in, do whatever makes you happy! That’s one of the many perks of being single!

Valentine’s Day often portrays singles as lonely and in search of love. But let me tell you, that’s usually not the case! The freedom you possess is admired by more people than you realize. Don’t get caught up in the hype.

This card corresponds to Venus in the sign of Virgo, symbolizing serenity, achievement, and comfort. It frequently appears for entrepreneurs or individuals (often recently divorced, but not always) who enjoy the freedom to focus on their business or creative endeavors. It also arises when a client has a hobby, idea, or talent that has the potential to be financially rewarding over time. Some of the happiest and most accomplished people I know are single.

The Nine of Pentacles indicates an abundant life. You have the freedom to surround yourself with the things you love and the luxury to prioritize your own happiness and needs, without feeling guilty about taking time and attention away from someone else.

The Nine of Pentacles, the tarot card associated with beauty and fulfilment, is THE card for singles for every day of the year. Not just Valentines Day! ❤

New Moon in Aries, Spring Equinox & Pluto changes signs!

The Aries new moon is coinciding with the Spring Equinox, super charging the energies of renewal & courage.

This fiery, independent new moon reminds us to reflect on how far we have come and to tap into our sovereignty as we begin nature’s new year. The Spring Equinox brings with it an influx of vitality that lights the spark for creative ideas and motivates us to initiate new projects.

Be aware, that on Tuesday, the Aries new moon is squaring Mars. This could result in conflicts or disagreements that can quickly escalate. Resist the urge to give in to impulsive words or actions! Rather, understand that this could be a truth being revealed. Take a deep breath and a step back. Ground your energy so you can see this through fresh eyes. A conflict resolution and/or a new path forward will be shown to you.

Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23rd for about three months before it goes back into Capricorn. Pluto’s activity this week, is enhancing the theme of changes & growth. In your personal chart, knowing what house transiting Pluto is in, will offer insight on what area of your life is being affected by this planet of hidden truths & transformation. If you would like to schedule a reading on this, let me know. 🙂

All in all, this is an exciting week! There is a lot of energy for us to process for sure. But we can tap into it and use it wisely to initiate a clear plan of action. Ideally, as this new moon is the beginning of a waxing (increasing) moon cycle, try to set at least a few goals this week, that can be achieved before the full moon on April 5th.

Below are helpful correspondences for the sign of Aries:

Aries Keywords: Confidence, goal-setting, health, new beginnings, action, independence, passion, courage, drive, assertiveness, dynamic, decisive, risk-taker.

Element: Fire
Gender Archetype: Masculine
Colors: Red, orange, yellow, white
Ruling Planet: Mars

Crystal Suggestions: Carnelian, citrine, red jasper, hematite, tiger’s eye, amethyst, garnet, green aventurine, pyrite, bloodstone.

Have a great week! ❤️♈️🔥🌱🌞

Virgo Full Moon & Saturn moves into Pisces: A moment of clarity.

Nine of Cups & Nine of Pentacles from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

This week we have the full moon in the sign of Virgo and Saturn changing signs into Pisces! Don’t be surprised if some changes come about in your life! Reconciliations, breakups, new relationships, as well as making the decision to change jobs, move, start a new health regime, start a new endeavor, or end one. Anything is possible!

The sun in Pisces (nine of cups) and the moon in Virgo (nine of pentacles) has us reassessing important areas of our life wherein we have known for a while that a change is needed. Emotional fulfilment, one’s spiritual path, self-worth and independence may be a few themes that come to light. You may have an eye-opening epiphany or a truth that comes out, that literally stops you in your tracks. As you decide on whether or not if this road is still the one that you want to be on. Whether it is or is not, this transit serves as a reality check that gives you the motivation to do what is best for you.

This particular transit, has an air of endings, the future and maturity. It’s asking us to take stock of where we’ve been and where we are going from here. Its almost the spring season. Time once again to cultivate our gardens. This week, the universe is asking us to evaluate the quality of the soil with fresh eyes. Do you plant your seeds again here? In the same spot as last year? Or is it time to cultivate some new soil?

Have a great week everyone! ❤️

Leo full moon 2/5/23. Solar plexus activation. Tarot card: Six of Wands

The Six of Wands from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

First, let’s talk a little bit about the symbolism of this transit. The numerology is interesting. It occurs on the 5th day of the month. As well when one adds up the entire date 2+5+2+0+2+3 = 14. It also breaks down to the number 5. The sign of Leo rules the 5th house on the zodiac wheel. The fifth house relates to joy, children, self-expression, confidence, drama, romance and overall good times. It’s planetary ruler is the sun. Its archetype is the majestic lion.

All I’m going to say here is, get ready! The lion does NOT sleep tonight!

This energetic Leo full moon is activating our solar plexus chakra big time to give us an extra boost to reframe areas of our life that are overdue for a reboot. The corresponding tarot card is the six of wands. In this card, we see someone in the spotlight. This person is a winner and is ready to take on the next challenge. It can denote achieving a goal, overcoming obstacles, as well as future success. There is also an element of respect in this card. As full moons often shed light on shadow areas in our life, you may find that this transit highlights situations and people that may not be or no longer be suitable for your highest good.

Are you respected and “seen” at work, in your relationships, friendships, etc.? Do you surround yourself with people and places that support your well-being? Do your friends and family cheer for you when you win? Or not so much? Where in your life do you feel confident, happy, sexy. And in what areas of your life do you feel overlooked, disrespected, closed-off or in general is not moving in the direction that you want it to?

After the full moon, it will enter its waning phase. Banishing, clearing, cleansing, de-clutter are some keywords for the waning moon. Often, we yearn for change, but our lives are so busy and cluttered, that we don’t have room for anything else to come in. I would also recommend an aura clearing bath, as well as energetically cleansing one’s personal space to “clear out” stagnant energies that may be lingering. If you would like advice on how to do this that is personalized for your situation, contact me.

When it comes to Leo, it’s all about heart. It has been recently scientifically proven that the heart has it’s own “consciousness”. Pay attention to what your heart and body is telling you. Stress and painful emotions often manifest as sensations in the chest area. The heart doesn’t lie. Be kind but honest with yourself. What needs to go or what do you need to limit your exposure to, in order for you to be happier and healthier? The Leo Moon is not complicated. It really is as simple as that.

Leo, as I mentioned above, also corresponds to children. And a Leo moon further amplifies this energy. Spending time with young ones has a way of bringing out our silly side. We laugh and play alongside them. Honestly, is there anything more joyful than a child’s smile? Spend time with kids if you can or nurture your own inner child by engaging in a youthful activity or watching funny, cute videos online. If you are trying to conceive, this week leading up to the full moon may prove favorable for you.

Crystal suggestions: Amber, citrine, malachite, carnelian, clear quartz, green jade, moonstone, tigers eye, sunstone

Have a great week! ❤️

Tarot message this week: First quarter moon in Taurus. Invest wisely.

Queen of Swords & Seven of Pentacles from the Wandering Star Tarot

Towards the end of this week, the moon is entering its first quarter phase in the sign of Taurus. The first quarter moon tends to bring up obstacles or highlight potential problem areas that need to be evaluated. It tests our resolve by encouraging us to come up with creative solutions. In the sign of Taurus this may be in the area of one’s finances, health, relationships, and other “earthly” matters.

It’s interesting that one of the cards that came out today, is the seven of pentacles, which corresponds to the sign of Taurus. The seven of pentacles reminds us to invest wisely. This is the classic “you reap what you sow” card. Progress is slow and steady, and this card indicates a certain amount of time and effort is required to make it work. This card can also speak of frustration if progress is slow. It also may ask us to carefully consider if we should continue to invest in something that is not yielding the results that we anticipated.

What in your life this week could use a careful review of the investment versus profit ratio? The Queen of Swords is in this reading, indicating that perhaps you would benefit from seeking impartial advice from someone you trust. She may also have shown up to encourage you to look at the facts and make a decision. It may be time to cut your losses and chalk it up to experience. Or she may give you some constructive criticism, tell you to roll up your sleeves and get to work!

Be prepared to hear what you need to hear, and not what you want to hear. The Queen of Swords either as a person, or as an archetype, tells it like it is! If you are connecting with this reading, what advice do you think she would have for you?

Have a great week! ❤️

The Emperor & the 12/23/22 Capricorn New Moon

The Emperor from the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck

This message today is for those of you who feel as if it has been a challenge to keep momentum on a project or situation in 2022. It seems that whatever this was for you, it would pick up steam, and then slow down. There was always a challenge or obstacle, or a distraction that came up that impeded your progress. And just as you would regain your footing, the scenario would repeat itself.

There may have been a very good reason for this! You most likely were experiencing a significant soul growth activation at the same time that you were trying to get traction on this project or situation. They were interlinked. In essence, this was a “first draft”. And now, as we end the year, you may come to realize that what you were trying so hard to get off the ground for the past 12 months, may not be what you want to pursue in 2023. You may be questioning yourself about now. But I assure you, you are just fine!

Your hard work has not been in vain! Let’s take another look. What you have is a foundation. But it is not the house itself. Have you ever built a home? There are always revisions to the plan before the actual building process begins. You may have poured the slab, but there were some required “adjustments” to be made to the blueprint! That is why you kept being pulled aside. There were some valuable experiences, lessons and insights that you needed to have. Its almost as if your future self was looking in on you and saying “not yet” or nudging you towards another path. But what you went through in 2022 is what got you to this point. So yes, you are much further ahead than you think.

And this leads us to our tarot card pull for this week. The Emperor.

The Emperor is all about leadership, structure, discipline, and focus. I often refer to The Emperor as a “hard ass” in my readings. LOL. He’s not into feelings and does not have time for excuses. But let’s be realistic. When we want to achieve something, when we have to get it done, when a situation calls for decisiveness and courage, when the time has come for us to be an authority at work, home or within ourself, The Emperor’s masculine influence is exactly the energy we call up from within.

This is an interesting card pull in combination with the upcoming Capricorn new moon on the 23rd.

Capricorn and The Emperor both have similar qualities such as building a solid foundation, self-respect, maturity, discipline, ambition, defining and achieving goals, responsibility, time and money, investments. They also both are a reminder that order and structure in our lives can be beneficial! It grounds our goals into reality so that we can attain them. It gives form to function (i.e. a solid plan). It also gives us the stability we require in order to have the freedom to focus on what really matters to us.

So, 2022 is almost over. You know what works, what doesn’t. Your priorities most likely have shifted as a result of your accumulated experiences from the past year. 2023 is going to be different. What areas in your life could benefit from the wisdom of The Emperor? Imagine, if you went to him for advice, what questions would you ask? How do you think he would answer? This would be an interesting journaling session.

Holding your crystals or having them nearby while journaling may help you “tap in” to this energy. Some helpful crystal suggestions are: Smoky quartz, hematite, garnet, malachite, aragonite, clear quartz, tourmilated quartz, red jasper, red tigers eye, bloodstone, carnelian.

Have a great week everyone! ❤️

Full Moon in Gemini 12/7/22

Tarot cards Nine of Swords, Nine of Wands for the Full Moon in Gemini

As I look at these cards today for this transit, I sense a lot of collective pent-up internal energy. The Gemini moon represented by the nine of swords, has us all up in our head! And the Sun in the sign of Sagittarius, represented by the nine of wands, has us battle weary, but holding strong, as we are in the final month of 2022. Full Moons have a strong effect on us and the planet, as they intensify energy. Add the hustle and bustle of the holidays to the mix, and we have quite a dynamic smoothie whirling in the blender!

The advice card that came out is #53 use your hands. Ground some of this energy by getting out of your head and into your physical experience this week! Exercise, get out in nature, walk, run, do yoga, cook, bake, make crafts, spend time with your partner, etc. Make lists to help organize your thoughts. Try to schedule your day to focus your intentions & add structure.

It is also important to understand that December, collectively, is the time of the year where there are interruptions and delays due to the holidays. December as well as full moons, are also when cycles are generally finishing up. Make peace with the process and try to work with the tide instead of against it. Some arrangements, resolutions or important decisions may be best deferred to 2023.

Gemini is a dynamic energy that is quick witted, active, social and highly adaptable. This is not one of those “deep thoughts” kind of full moon. Its more about swift decisions and action. I feel both the 9 of swords and the 9 of wands in this reading indicate a strong desire for connection and new positive experiences. Perhaps you would like to make a difference in your community? Volunteer at a church, charity, animal shelter, fund raiser, etc. Host a holiday party. After what we have been through the last few years, I’m sure friends and family would love to get together! Do some fun activities with the kids. Knock out that holiday list by getting your shopping done early. Do that final closet clean out and donate items to charity. Dress up and go to a local community event. Attend a local market. Rediscover yourself and your surroundings.

Gemini rules communications! Now would be a great time to pare down social media feeds that no longer contribute in a positive way to your well-being! As well as maybe add some new interesting feeds to your experience.

Collectively, this full moon is quite active and expressive! The pent up energy we are experiencing may seem a little frustrating, but channeled in a positive way, it gives us the opportunity to make some sustainable and positive changes as we approach the end of 2022.

Helpful crystal suggestions: Black tourmaline, black obsidian, smoky quartz, pyrite, tourmalinated quartz, howlite, tigers eye, moss agate, ametrine, moonstone, nuummite, chrysocolla, quartz pyramid or point.

Have a great week!

Post Eclipse Message: The beach is swept clean. Decisions, choices.

Post eclipse tarot spread. A clean slate. A choice to move forward.

I don’t know about ya’ll but this eclipse season whipped my ass! But I do now feel a sense of relief and newfound motivation that I haven’t felt in a while. You guys are all “tapped in” too, so I know I am not the only one feeling this way!

Today, the moon has just begun its waning decreasing phase. Illumination is 99% and it is in the sign of Gemini. The Sun is in Scorpio and its corresponding tarot card is the 6 of cups. This is full-on transformation energy! Realizing the past is done and making peace with it in order to move ahead. We have a decision to make as to which direction we want our Chariot to go. Backwards is not an option.

The eclipses showed us what was dragging us down or holding us back. Much of this we may have realized were not necessarily outward forces, but rather internal blockages that were manifesting in our life. I received an image today of the ocean tide sweeping the shoreline clean as it pulls back into the ocean. Removing all of the old footprints of the past and replacing it with a clean water swept beach. Go ahead and look back, but the footprints are gone.

I have a feeling its going to be very interesting from here on out. Have a great day!

One card quick message: The Five of Cups

The Five of Cups from the Rider Waite Smith tarot deck

The Five of Cups is the card that came out today. Let’s look carefully at the image in this card. We see a character mourning the loss of three spilled cups and behind him, we see two cups that are still standing. This card speaks of a loss as well as the grieving process. Sadness has overcome this character for the moment, as he is working through his emotions, trying to deal with the fact that something has ended. Oftentimes in a reading, this can signify a relationship break-up or a death in the family for example. But it can also indicate any other type of loss that has had a significant emotional impact.

This card reminds us that yes, allow yourself time to grieve. However try not to stay there too long. For all is not lost. The two upright cups behind him, on the right side of the card, signify the return to an emotionally balanced state and also of moving forward.

It is only when the character finally turns around, that he notices the two remaining cups as well as the bridge behind him. As he picks up the two cups, perfectly balanced, one in each hand, and crosses the bridge over the troubled waters of the past, he is walking in the direction of the castle that represents a future filled with new opportunities and possibilities.

If you are reading this, I hope this message was helpful…
