Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse

Not only is this moon in the dark, mysterious sign of Scorpio, it includes a rare blood moon lunar eclipse, which exponentially intensifies its energetic influence! Look at the cards in this tarot & oracle card spread. It’s pretty intense. Wouldn’t you agree?

This transit is activating the collective as well as the individual on a profound level. Literally, we are being guided to allow things to end in our life that are or have been exerting a negative influence and/or pulling us off our divine path. In our daily lives, you will see these aspects intensify so that whatever this is for you: people, situations, environment, habits, etc. cannot be ignored any longer. The universe is removing all doubt you may have about needing to release them! But as always, you have a choice. It is YOU that must initiate the change or decide on a new direction. Look at the moon oracle card #19. It’s as if the universe is standing at the fork in the road with you, waiting for your decision.

Take time to be still and access your inner voice. That is where the truth is.

Knowing your truth is what causes the excess to fall away. The choice becomes easy.

Lilith is the goddess energy influencing this transit. She was demonized because she would not submit. Her truth was that she was not “lesser” and deserved to be treated as an equal. To her, staying where she was not allowed to live the fullest expression of herself would in fact, trap her within the limits of someone else’s reality. In other words, she refused to sell herself short in order to please someone else. The price she paid for her conviction was high, but not as high as if she had stayed. We all have been in situations like this. Whether individually or collectively, the result is the same. When we allow others to limit or define us, we give them power over us. As most of you probably already know, these types situations tend to get worse over time, not better.

Does Lilith’s story resonate with you?

Scorpio energy has no choice but to transform itself continuously. Its symbol is the phoenix, which repeatedly goes through the death and rebirth cycle. That is what this moon is activating within us. An internal transformation. Who are you? I’ll bet you are not the same person that you were two years ago, two months ago, two weeks ago, or even two days ago.

What in your life is ready to be released? What have you outgrown? In what area(s) of your life are you over-compromising? Is there an agreement that needs to be renegotiated or voided completely? Are you feeling “blocked”? Do you feel it is time to align yourself with a more empowered archetype?

As a side note, some of you that are psychically sensitive may be physically feeling this moons effects, especially if there is a significant emotional transition and/or psychological breakthrough coming to light at the same time. You may feel confused, dizzy, angry, overly emotional or mentally foggy. Be patient with yourself. If you are feeling this way, protect your energy. Give yourself permission to withdraw for a little while in order to recalibrate. Just as when a snake is shedding its skin, it knows it is vulnerable. Therefore, it withdraws into its hide until the process is complete. If you are resonating with this message, save the big decisions and heavy conversations for after this transit.

I’m going to take this post to the next level here. Yes, this is a powerful moon. But in addition, this transit is supported by other beneficial planetary alignments. As such, we have the ability to work with this potent energy to release the chords of ancestor karmic ties, soul contracts that do not serve our highest good, energetic blockages, painful stories, and patterns that have been repeated over and over due to soul wounds that we have incurred in this life, or even from past lives.

Mercury, the planet that corresponds to communication, is retrograde during this transit. I refer to Mercury retrograde as “Repeat a Grade”. This transit is giving us a chance to “RE-view” our story. Many of these stories have been a part of our experience for far too long as I mentioned before. Every time we re-visit the old narrative, we re-open the old wounds and we re-live the pain of it. Is time to re-lease ourselves from this toxic storyline? The Death card in this reading is our message that a cycle has reached its conclusion.

The Scorpio Moon in regards to agriculture is an ideal time to plant hearty vegetables such as squash, beans, tomatoes and leafy greens. It is said that the roots of plants are able to recover quickly from being transplanted into new soil during this moon phase.

We have Temperance in this reading. One of my nicknames for this card is “spiritual alchemy. This moon is our catalyst, if we have not begun the process already, to do “the great work of inner transformation” by burning away those old narratives and subconscious programs, in order to access the divine “gold” within. If you are reading this, this is your wake-up call. If you are not satisfied with the current trajectory of your life, you have the opportunity with this transit to turn the page and begin a new narrative.

New Moon in Aries April 1, 2022

Spring is the time for new growth, new beginnings, warmth, beauty, abundance. It is when birds build their nests and lay eggs, the trees begin to show sprigs of green, and hibernating animals, goddesses, gods and nature spirits wake from their winter slumber. It’s an exciting time!

The zodiac symbol for Aries is the ram. An animal that is known for its tenacity and assertiveness. In human terms, we often associate Aries with the warrior or athlete. In our lives, this translates into having the drive and confidence to take action. Whether this is a new project, a career move, athletic endeavors, buying a home, the pursuit of love, or going through with the decision to get that first tattoo, Aries inspires us to achieve.

The card associated with this particular new moon is the three of wands. We see how the character in this card has their eye on the horizon. The three of wands denotes potential as well as future opportunities, some of which may at this point, may be just beyond our reach. Or perhaps we don’t have our plan all together quite yet. But it won’t be like that for long! We are talking about the fiery suit of wands after all! The inner fire of inspiration gives us the courage we need to keep moving. The number three is one of creative potential. It’s that idea that wakes you up at 3:00 am. It’s that feeling that one must “go for it”. It’s thinking to yourself, “it’s crazy, but it just might work”, it’s knowing that you CAN do this, that your vision is within the realm of possibility. The three of wands can also indicate a potential for traveling.

It’s interesting that the New Moon falls on April 1st also known as April Fool’s Day. I see this indicative of the universe further inspiring us to have faith in ourselves and to break the mold, if we are feeling a bit stagnant. Aries, like The Fool in the major arcana, goes its own way. Aries can be a bit much for some people, but personally I love Aries energy! Ask a well aspected Aries person how they will do it, and they will respond “I don’t know how yet, I just know I will.” Just as the ram aligns with its target and charges forward, full speed ahead, their motto is often “get behind me, be beside me, or move out of my way!” Like the warrior archetype they rise to the challenge. They will push themselves to the limit to accomplish their goals.

This new moon in the sign of Aries on April 1st, is asking us to align our courage with our intentions. Are you ready to be bold? Be more independent? Begin a new diet/exercise regime? Have more faith in your potential to succeed? Maybe it’s time to show your leadership skills at work or at home! Perhaps you are ready to set some new rules in your life and assert yourself more. Is it time to step out of your comfort zone and take action? Just as our modern day athletes train and regularly push themselves beyond their physical limits in order to become stronger, this Aries new moon is pushing us to strive beyond our perceived limitations. This Aries New Moon inspires us not to give in to fear. Lean in, and keep going. Now more than ever, it is vital to not allow oneself to become distracted with large scale events that for the most part, are beyond the stewardship of the individual. Instead of focusing your attention outward, turn your powerful gaze inward. Aries represents the self, the individual. Its motto is “I am”.

The major arcana tarot card associated with Aries is The Emperor. There was a saying that I read once that reminded me of this archetype. It stated “I never lose. Either I win or I learn”. That statement in my opinion, reflects the persona of The Emperor, as well as represents the zodiac sign of Aries, perfectly.

Full Moon in Virgo

This full moon in Virgo on 3/18/22, is the culmination of energy from the New Moon in Pisces we had on 3/2/22. See my previous blog or facebook posts for more information on this transit. To sum it up, that new moon’s theme was about connecting to one’s subconscious / spirituality. To plant the seeds of what we have been dreaming about, in order to make it a reality. It was also about wrapping up Karma and releasing old paradigms to shift into a new persona. To align our outside with who we are or are striving to be, on the inside.

So we had a chance to do some lucid dreaming at the Pisces New Moon. Now, Virgo says it’s time to get real. Virgo represents the sixth house in the zodiac. She represents work, health, service to others, self-care, attention to detail, organization, schedules, diet, the body, structure, holistic healing, and everyday commitments. She can be a bit bossy, but it stems from good intentions. She is opposite of the sign of Pisces. She balances out this dreamy water sign with a dose of physical, earth element practicality. The Virgo frequency, has pen and paper in hand and is ready to assist us. She is a mutable earth sign. She has the ability to walk into a current construct and make it better, healthier, more organized, etc. She loves to be of service, and being a mutable sign, she works best when she can improve upon something that is already there. She can take us to the next level. Virgo’s mantra is “I analyze”.

Tonight’s Full Moon in Virgo is asking you: Okay, what do we need to do make your dreams a reality? Do you want to look and feel better? Let’s initiate a diet and exercise plan. Do you want to have more money in savings? Let’s put pen to paper and make a budget. Virgo, being in charge of details, helps us micro-manage the daily aspects of our lives. For it’s what we do or don’t do each day, that add up over time. This includes consideration of how we serve others, and how we take care of ourselves. Virgo energy is spiritual and intuitive with a healthy dose of grounding.

As a side note, this full moon is in a beneficial aspect to Pluto (the planet of destruction & transformation) This additional boost gives us an opportunity to analyze and release once and for all what is not serving us, so that we can embrace fresh, new, holistic, balanced lifestyle choices for ourselves and those that we love.

The tarot card for Virgo is The Hermit. The Hermit takes time out from society, in order to re-charge and to access inner wisdom. The Hermit also speaks of being a source of light and wisdom for others. But we can only be this source of light for others, by living true to ourselves first and foremost. If you are able to help others, do it. There truly is no better feeling. But when your own light starts to become dim, have the wisdom to “know when to say no”.

March 2022 Pisces New Moon – Make a wish!

The Nine of Cups is the primary energy for this New Moon in Pisces

Tonight’s Pisces New Moon – Make a wish! The New Moon in Pisces tonight is in a beneficial aspect to Jupiter – the planet of growth, luck and expansion. Interestingly enough, the corresponding tarot card for the new moon is the 9 of cups which is known as the “wish fulfillment” card. The Moon in the sign of Pisces (both corresponding to the element of water) is a dreamy, mysterious, sensitive, intuitive, creative energy. Combined with other powerful astrological transits this month, as well as the vernal equinox on March 20th , (the beginning of the spring season) it would appear that the divine is giving us the opportunity to plant the seeds of our intentions of this new moon in VERY fertile soil here!

This frequency is ethereal in nature, therefore she is difficult to grasp with the conscious mind. This New Moon is asking us to “walk between the worlds”. Go ahead, allow yourself to float in the realm of the subconscious for a while. As I write this, the image of one those sensory isolation tanks is coming into my mind’s eye. The New Moon in Pisces is calling you to step into the world of dreams and explore what you find there.

This is an excellent moon phase/transit to do some automatic writing! Light a candle (or two or three LOL), burn some incense and allow yourself to “let go”. Be in a quiet space with no distractions. Pulling an oracle or tarot card(s) may be helpful to get the “conversation” started with your angels, guides, higher self, divine, etc. Let spirit guide your hand during this exercise. We have Saturn and Mercury Conjunct in the sign of Aquarius. Both of these planets are comfortable in this sign. This is the house of groups, friends, the collective. Being the number 6, it denotes a certain amount of faith is required. How do we acquire faith? By having a strong connection with spirit, as I mentioned above. Piscean vibes!

This New Moon also denotes an easier approach, or an end to a cumulative amount of work or building. For example, some of you may be graduating from college, be recognized for a promotion at work, or perhaps you are beginning to reap rewards and/or recognition from a project or business that you have been working on for a good while now. You may also have the opportunity to release karma or energetic chords from a traumatic experience. All planets are direct this month, indicating a forward momentum that allows one to break out of dark psychological cycles or any kind of shadowy energy.

Don’t worry too much about the details right now. We have the full moon in Virgo on March 18th. She will bring us back into reality and shine a light as to what our next steps should be. 2022 is a “six” year. There is a lot of potential for growth, expansion and for shifting your life into the one that you want. The Five of Swords, The Empress & Page of Pentacles

The Empress is a card of creation, nature, and beauty. Ruled by Venus, this divine feminine, embodies abundance and self-love. Look how relaxed she is. She is not a machine – go, go, go. She is nature. And nature is not full speed ahead all of the time. It ebbs and flows in cycles.

I feel that in this reading today, she is saying that you require some “me” time this week. And more importantly, you are to be okay with it. There is no need to explain, no excuses, no guilt. The Empress says “you are worth it”.

I love the Page of Pentacles card grounding this reading. Isn’t she beautiful? She appears to be in a modified “tree” yoga position. Balanced, full of potential, optimistic. She gives me a “tribal” sort of vibe. Her unique gifts and talents are an asset to herself and others. They are the keys to manifesting abundance in her life. But only if she takes care of herself first. She is but just a Page. She must take care not to burn herself out. And more importantly she must be careful not to squander her potential on those that do not appreciate it. I find it interesting that she too, is out in nature, just like The Empress card above her.

What’s with the Five of Swords here? I sometimes refer to the Five of Swords as the “screw you” card. But I don’t recommend you tell anyone off this week! (laugh). However, this could indicate a more direct approach is required to cut some circumstances, people, or prior commitments out of your life that are draining you. The Empress is very generous, the Page of Pentacles is young and energetic, but even they have their limits.

We have the quirky, innovative Aquarius New Moon this week, coinciding closely with the Chinese New Year in the sign of the powerful Water Tiger. These are additional energies coming in serving as an energetic “push” to aid you in making any changes that you wish to make to allow space for other, more positive experiences to come in to your life.

People grow, develop other interests. This is normal. If you are ready to do something else. It’s all good. People will get over it. You cannot be all things to all people, as if you try, you will lose yourself in the process.

The Empress does not exhaust herself to “prove” her worth to anyone. She is enough. You are enough. You are always enough.

Tarot message this week: Emerging from old cycles. Venus in retrograde.

Venus is in retrograde. Watch your step.

We have the Five of Cups, The World and The Page of Wands making their appearance this week. You are being urged to step out of a repeating karmic cycle. But keep in mind Venus just turned retrograde, she will be in this shadow energy for the next six weeks or so (until the end of January 2022). Any moves or changes should be carefully thought out. There is an air of seduction and possible emotional manipulation when Venus is in retrograde. Be smart. Watch your step.

One question to ask yourself this week is, what is the true underlying motivation behind the drive to achieve a particular goal or to make a change. Remove the rose-colored glasses and be honest with yourself.

There is the potential for an “aha” moment this week!

Messages for the 12/4/21 New Moon Solar Eclipse

Cards for the New Moon Solar Eclipse on 12/4/21

I decided to pull some cards for the new moon solar eclipse coming up on 12/4/21. I am using the Moon Mansion Oracle and the Spirit Animal Oracle to aid me in this reading.

The nine of wands is the tarot card associated with this transit. It’s interesting that the planetary energies of this tarot card is moon in Sagittarrius. So we have the illusive watery moon energy literally mixing with the fiery sign of Sagittarius.

On a collective level, there are some big energies transpiring with this transit. With the powerful Goddess Kali in the mix, we are sure to witness an uptake of chaotic energy. This transformation process that is happening now, is not an easy one. As a collective, we have been clamoring for change for a good while now, but this will not be without its price. Literally the notation for the Kali card is “If you fight, you will have to pay the price”. But what is the price if one does not fight? The nine of wands stands alone, indicating that he believes in his position. He is willing to stand alone to defend it. I think we are contemplating this question as a society at this time. The rights of the individual within the context of a larger societal structure.

The next card in the wands progression is the ten of wands. This is a card of too much work, burdens, responsibilities, indentured servitude. So many are working, working, working, just to keep their heads above water. The collective is still recovering from the events from 2020-2021, and now we are seeing inflation in the form of higher gas prices, food prices, higher taxes, cost of living increases, etc. Yet, wages have not kept up for the most part. We see the Nine of Wands card looking at the Butterfly Spirit as if he is holding strong, but battle weary. Sagittarius energy is known for it’s optimistic outlook. But as we progress through the tarot to the next card, the ten of wands, this is where literally see this character in the nine of wands, progresses to the point of where it is too much. He literally cannot carry the burden anymore. The natives are getting restless. Something’s got to give.

The image in my minds eye that I see is of two sides of a coin. With the sun being the coin. We have a building up of energy as the moon moves closer to the sun, then a period of darkness during the transit, and then as the moon moves through, we are shown the “flip side of the coin” so to speak. Be prepared for new information coming to light, breaking news stories, as well as people changing their opinions, saying one thing and doing another, as well as an increase in “mysterious deaths” and a rise of prominent people being targeted for standing up for their personal truth, philosophies and beliefs. There is an undercurrent of the beginnings of a change. It’s subtle now, but it’s there.

On a more individual level, it is important to rest at this time, as we see this message in the Black Moon card. This transit can be draining on sensitives. You may be feeling physically tired and/or mentally overwhelmed. We are receiving a huge download of information from the cosmos. I literally feel that the collective, depending on the spiritual elevation of the individual of course, is receiving an upgrade.

I would not necessarily recommend conducting any spells or magickal workings during this transit. As the results may end up different than what you anticipated. I equate this to attempting to continue to work on a computer, while it is in the middle of an update. You may save the file and it seems okay, only to have it be “off” in some way when you open it again, such as the spacing is different, the fonts have changed, the icons have moved, etc. Or you may discover, that the file did not save at all.

Some people may disagree with me on this of course. This is just my personal opinion. Do what feels right for you.

I feel this is also not a good time for sudden big decisions or serious talks. Seriously, wait a couple of days. You may come out on the other side of this transit with a different perspective. The sun and moon energies here have a push/pull effect. Being impetuous will not serve you well. It may leave you wondering what the heck were you thinking? See how this character on the Precipice card is heading towards Kali? Whoops! Don’t push it. Trust in the process. See how the Nine of Wands is standing still, while remaining alert? You may need to use your discernment and pick your battles wisely. You may discover it wasn’t quite such a big deal after all, after you have a nutritious meal and a good night’s sleep.

On the flip side, I feel if you have already been working on something up to this point, it will progress and/or transform naturally into a new beginning and/or opportunity. This message came through in my tarot post on Monday. This may require you to transform your perspective as was mentioned. I think it is interesting that on Monday, we had the eight of swords with her blindfold over her eyes. And here, we see the nine of wands, without any encumbrance to his vision, looking at the Butterfly Spirit card. I see this, in this context, as the building up to the solar eclipse, and then symbolically as the moon covers and then moves past the sun, this is removing the temporary blindfold that we saw in the eight of swords. So again, if you are already in the process of making a decision or change, you are literally the caterpillar in the cocoon. These energies are in already in process and will unfold naturally during this transit. The other side of this eclipse may present you with a positive opportunity, that will allow you to see for yourself just how capable and valuable you are. You emerge as the butterfly.

As we know, not everyone is aware, or what we call “awake”. However this energy will still be affecting the collective. The tarot cards today are indicating that there is an opportunity for some of you this week. But it will require you to step outside your comfort zone. Rhino spirit is your message that you are strong and capable. Show the Universe that you are serious about making a change in your circumstances, by taking the initiative to get the ball rolling. If an opportunity comes your way, especially in the area of work, career, money, business, etc. don’t let your self-imposed fears or perceived limitations stop you from acting on it.

Astrology wise, we have both the sun and mercury in optimistic Sagittarius. And even though the image we see in the eight of swords looks disheartening, the planetary energies of this card is Jupiter in Gemini, which is the opposite zodiac sign of Sagittarius. So there is quite a bit of energetic support this week that is making it’s appearance in the cards! Take advantage of it!

When the eight of swords appears in a reading, it indicates that a change in perspective is needed to turn a situation around. Our lady in bondage is required to save herself by calling up determination and courage from within, to take that first step out of her self-imposed prison. I see the Ace of Pentacles here as a metaphorical “carrot” dangling in front of her. To encourage her to remove the blindfold and proceed forward.
